“Ready to Play Ball?” New ILP Moneyfacts SRI feature (January 2015)

Investment Life and Pensions Moneyfacts have published an SRI feature by Julia Dreblow of sriServices in this month’s magasine.  The article is available here.

The article introduces some of the 2014  SRI highlights – including European and UK wide growth, Good Money Week and  ‘Unburnable Carbon’.

The final paragraph invites advisers to bring SRI into the advice process for all clients during 2015.

Given the growing profile of this area Julia suggest that advisers have the option to ‘Play Ball or Play Chicken’ .

Citing the examples of Comic Relief and the Church of England both of whom were ‘caught out’ during 2014 – advisers should not try to second guessing which clients will be interested in bringing environmental, social and governance issues into their investment considerations…
