I am delighted to announce the launch of a new, free client SRI microsite created for advisers to use with their clients pre-meeting.
The site outlines the different Styles of sustainable, ethical and responsible investments and invites clients to fill in a tick box questionnaire to identify which styles are most suited to their personal views.
By encouraging clients to fill in the ‘StyleFinder questionnaire’ advisers can simplify the SRI (Sustainable and Responsible Investment) advice process as clients can identify which types of SRI or ethical investments suit their personal views in their own time and at their own pace.
The client microsite is accessible to all via ‘https://staging.fundecomarket.co.uk/sri-stylefinder-tool/ ‘ or you can simply Google ‘StyleFinder Fund EcoMarket’ and it should appear.
The site is free to use and is intended to help advisers to get involved in this market more easily and more often … in line with the aims of our business.
The questionnaire asks only high level ‘ethical’ type questions. It does not touch on any financial or product related areas.
The site is separate to the sriServices website which is for use by Financial Advisers only. The sriServices site offers free SRI information and support for advisers and access to the Fund EcoMarket database tool which lists all the retail funds that are available within each SRI Style – split by product and investment type.
The SRI fact find questions and site information are identical to those on the adviser SRI fund database tool ‘Fund EcoMarket’ – with one exception – the client microsite makes no reference to the emerging ‘Specialist’ Style. This is primarily because there is currently only one regulated fund that meets our database criteria.
The client site contains a ‘Find Adviser’ button. All IFAs who ask their clients whether or not they require advice on ‘ethical, sustainable or responsible investment’ as a matter of course are eligible to join – for a nominal fee of £100 plus VAT.
Please email Julia@sriServices.co.uk if you would like to be one of the first to join the ‘Find Adviser’ list.
Feedback and comment on this new launch are both welcome….
Please respond to the email address above. Apologies for the removal of the ‘reply’ option on this blog – this was because of excessive levels of spam.
